New York, NY. – May 26, 2015 – Translation has received a Wood Pencil in Film Advertising from the 2015 D&AD Awards with “Old Table,” an uproarious broadcast spot created on behalf of American Signature, Inc. This marks the second award—and indeed the second pencil-themed award—that the New York-based creative agency has earned for its work on “Old Table,” having previously won a Gold Pencil from the 2015 One Show. “Old Table” was created on behalf of American Signature, Inc. retail brand Value City Furniture as a part of the summer 2014 “Style Comes Easy” campaign. The spot was produced by Dummy Films and helmed by acclaimed comedy director Harold Einstein.
